Summer with Kids..Week 1

Seriously I don't know where to start this post from. This week had been.. umm...busy and the weekend before that was more busy and tiring. My daughter celebrated her 7th birthday(can't believe she is already 7...it's like she was just born ..right??) last Saturday and her Pretty in Pink Tea Party was well... though not fancy by any means but pretty good from my standards. It was a totally DIY party so stay tuned for a full update on that later this week.
Today's post is about why I have been busy this week and will be for few more weeks.Summer vacations for our area started this week and some of our neighbourhood friends' kids(who BTW are my kids friends too..) have been spending days with us. So the week was dedicated to cleaning after the party and putting home back to shape, starting of summer vacations and me taking care of 6 kids (including mine 2).
Yes! the week was busy definitely, but it was a lot of fun as well. We have been doing drawings and paintings and crafts in general to keep ourselves busy and focused on creating things. So here are some pics of what we did the whole week.

MONDAY: We made coffee filter flowers on Monday.

Tuesday: was dedicated to fuse beads and drawing 'snake wrapped on a branch' inspiration for which came from here.

Wednesday: We made string necklaces from friendship puzzle charms..they looked so cute when joined :)

Thursday: Room signs were made out of foam sheets and stickers.

Friday: Decorating felt mini photo frames and  drawing a lion was on the list for Friday.Inspiration for the drawing again came from here.

With all that work the week ended. My daughter V made a beautiful tee for herself with fabric crayons on Saturday.I can't believe I didn't tried those before, but never too late ...I have some projects in mind for her as well as my son S.Tee's pic will be up with next week's activities. Till than..take care everyone and enjoy sunny days ahead :)
